Men's Golf Places Fourth At Embry-Riddle Invite
The Northwood University men's golf team opened up the spring portion of their schedule by placing fourth at the Embry Riddle Invitational Tuesday afternoon (March 12).
The two-day, 36-hole event was held at the North Course at Antelope Hills in Prescott, Arizona. The course played as a 7,014 yard, par 72.
Northwood shot team scores of 297 and 293 to finish with a 14-over par total of 590. Embry Riddle and Simpson were the overall winners at 579.
The Timberwolves were led by sophomore Robert Marsh (Bay City, Mich./Delta College). He finished even par overall after shooting rounds of 73-71 to tie for fifth overall. Bruce Eccleton (Saginaw, Mich./Mott CC) tied for 12th at 147 (74-73),while Gilles Medale (Valence D'Agen, France) was one strke behind Eccleton at 148 (75-73).
Northwood will compete at the Butler Invitational March 25-26.
