Matt Garland Named Second Team All-GLIAC In Men's Golf

BAY CITY, MICH. – Matt Garland (Battle Creek, Mich./Lakeview), a senior on the Northwood University men's golf team, has earned Second Team All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), the league announced Wednesday (April 26).

Garland saved his best season as a golfer for his senior campaign. He was the top performer for the Timberwolves during the 2016-17 season, finishing the year with a 75.6 average. His 67 at the Music City Regional was the lowest round for a Northwood player this season. In 10 events this season, Garland registered six top-20 finishes.
