Men's Golf Ties For Third At ODU Kickoff Classic

RECAP: Northwood opened their 2017-18 season by tying for third out of 17 teams at the ODU Kickoff Classic, hosted by Ohio Dominican Tuesday afternoon (September 5).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Playing 36-holes in one day, Northwood shot matching team scores of 298 to finish with a team total of 596 (+20).
• Findlay was the overall winner at 590 (292-298), followed by Indianapolis at 594 (297-297). Ashland finished tied with Northwood at 596 (289-307).

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Austin Deiters: 70-75=145. Sixth Overall
• Cameron Lippoldt: 73-73=146. Tied for seventh overall
• A total of 101 players competed in the event.

• Northwood will travel to the Al Watrous Memorial at the Saginaw Valley Public Golf Course  September 9-10.
