Men's Golf Finishes Third At Butler Invitational To Open Spring Season

LOCATION: Jacksonville, Fla. – Blue Sky Golf Club (Par 72 – 6,784 yards)
RECAP: Northwood finished third out of eight teams to open the spring season at the Butler Invitational Monday and Tuesday (March 11-12).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot matching team scores of 300 and 300 to finish at 600 overall to place third.
• Albany State was the overall winner at 588 (291-297), followed by Butler at 591 (290-301).
• A total of eight teams took part in the event – Northwood was the only non-Division I school in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Jagger Richard: 74-74=148 – tied for fifth
• Austin Deiters: 74-74=158 – tied for fifth
• A total of 48 players competed in the tournament
