RECAP: Northwood men's golf opens their 2021-22 season with a 10th place finish at the Arendsen Invitational Sunday-Monday (September 5-6).

INSIDE THE EVENT

  • Northwood shot team scores of 306, 308 and 298 to finish at 912 overall, good for a 10th place tie overall.
  • Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 848 (283-285-280), while Findlay placed second at 862).
  • A total of 12 teams took part in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

  • Evan Johnson: 80-72-72=224 – 24th overall
  • Zach Hopkins: 76-74-79=229 – tied for 34th
  • David Skobe: 76-79-75=230 – tied for 40th
  • A total of 74 players competed in the tournament

NORTHWOOD NOTES

  • Three of Northwood's five players in the lineup made the collegiate golf debuts: Johnson, Skobe, and Romi Dilawri
