Men's Golf Ties For Seventh At SVSU Spring Invitational

RECAP: Northwood men's golf ties for seventh place at the SVSU Spring Invitational Saturday-Sunday (March 19-20).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores of 312 and 294 to finish at 605 overall, good for a tie for seventh place with Ferris State (314-292).
• Southern Indiana was the overall winner at 588 (298-290), taking the title by one shot over Findlay (295-294). Tiffin was third at 593 (305-288).
• A total of 19 teams took part in the event.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Evan Johnson: 76-71=147 – tied for 13th place
• Viktor Nibell: 76-73=149 – tied for 20th
• Carson Butterfield: 79-74=153 – tied for 35th
• A total of 117 players competed in the tournament

• Northwood will return to Lexington next week for the Findlay Spring Invite March 28-29.
