RECAP: Men's Golf drops a hard-fought match to Davenport in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals Sunday (April 17).
INSIDE THE EVENT
- Northwood faced off against Davenport using a medal match play format, meaning the teams five players will play 18 holes in one-on-one contests.
- In the first match, Northwood's David Skobe earned a four-shot win over Bradley Mogire 70-74.
- That proved to be NU's lone win, however, as the Panthers won the other four matches.
- Two matches came down to the final hole tied. Both of which were won by Davenport. If Northwood had won those matches, NU would have advanced to the finals.
- Davenport advances to face Ferris State in the finals.
NORTHWOOD NOTES
- This marks the first year Northwood has reached the semifinals of the GLIAC Tournament since the inception of this format in 2019.
