Men's Golf Opens Spring Season At Barton Spring Bulldog Clash

RECAP: Northwood men's golf opens the spring portion of their season by competing at the Spring Bulldog Clash Monday-Tuesday (February 27-28).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood shot team scores 304, 303 and 311 to finish at 918 overall, good for 20th place.
• No. 24 Barton, the host of the event, was the overall winner at 836 (279-272-285), followed by Belmont Abbey (279-287-279=845) and South Carolina – Aiken (277-287-283=847).
• A total of 22 teams took part in the event. Five of the teams were ranked in the top 35 of Division II according to the latest WGCA Poll.

TOP NU PERFORMERS

• Evan Johnson: 76-68-73=217 – tied for 31st
• Viktor Nibell: 72-76-81=229 – tied for 83rd
• A total of 118 players competed in the tournament
