Evan Johnson Named G-MAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – Sophomore Evan Johnson has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week.

The league announced the weekly award winners Monday (March 20).

Johnson tied for second out of 124 players at the SVSU Spring Invitational after carding rounds of 72 and 71. He had nine birdies in 36 holes, tied for the second most of any player in the event. Johnson was the highest finishing player from the G-MAC.

Northwood will compete at the Findlay Invitational March 27-28.
