RECAP: A strong final round gives men's golf a third place finish at the Music City Invite Monday-Tuesday (April 3-4). 

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood carded team scores of 293 and 286 to finish at 579 overall.
• NU's final round total of -2 tied for the lowest score of the event and allowed the Timberwolves to move up two positions on the last day.
• No. 33 Missouri S&T was the overall winner at 575 (288-287), followed by Maryville at 576 (290-286)
• A total of 12 teams took part in the event.

• Viktor Nibell: 71-72=143 – tied for sixth overall
• Evan Johnson 75-70=145 – tied for 12th
• Carson Butterfield: 73-74=147 – tied for 22nd
• David Skobe: 74-73=147 – tied for 22nd
• Kosuke Tojo: 76-71=147 – tied for 22nd
• A total of 63 players competed in the tournament
