MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University golf programs placed a total of three student-athletes on the All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference teams.

One the men's side, Evan Johnson and Viktor Nibell both were named All-G-MAC. Ines Dorado represented the women's team.

In addition, Johnson was honored as the Elite 26 award for G-MAC Men's Golf, given to the player who competed at the G-MAC Championship with the highest cumulative grade point average.

Johnson was voted to the team by the coaches in the conference.  He finished the year with a 73.3 scoring average, which is the lowest individual scoring average in program history. He led Northwood with 12 rounds under par as well as two top-five finishes and seven top-20 finishes in 10 events. Johnson was named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC following the 2022-23 season.

Nibell earned All-G-MAC honors thanks to finishing in the top-eight at the G-MAC Championships. Nibell tied for fifth overall at the event thanks to rounds of 70-78-72. For the season, Nibell finished second on the team with a 75.2 scoring average.

Dorado has now earned All-Conference honors five times in her career, as she was named Second Team All-GLIAC four times. She was voted to the All-G-MAC team by the coaches in the conference. Dorado currently sports a scoring average of 76.9, which would break her own scoring average record she set a year ago (77.3). She also holds the Northwood school record for career scoring average at 77.9. Dorado earned a position as an individual at the NCAA East Regional Championships, which will take place May 8-10 in Springfield, Illinois.
