Evan Johnson Earns Bid To NCAA Regional Championship

NCAA REGIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT

MIDLAND, MICH. – Junior Evan Johnson from the Northwood University men's golf team has earned a position as an individual at the NCAA Division II Central/Midwest Regional Championship.

The Central/Midwest Regional will feature the top 10 teams from both the Central and Midwest regions. Johnson is one of four individuals from non-qualifying teams in the Midwest to earn invitations to the event.

Johnson has been Northwood's top player in the lineup in each of his three years in Midland. This year, he finished with a scoring average of 72.7, the lowest in program history. Johnson has earned six straight top-10 finishes this spring.

The tournament will take place at the KickingBird Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma May 9-11.
