RECAP: Northwood men's soccer drops 4-1 match to Davenport in the spring 2021 opener for both teams Sunday afternoon (March 7).
GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Davenport got on the board in the 22nd minute to go up 1-0.
- Northwood responded quickly, netting the equalizer less than a minute later. Amedeo Crovasce flipped a shot over the keeper down the right side off a feed from Sean Avery at 22:45.
- That is the way the scored remained the rest of the evenly-played opening half. Both teams had seven shots in the half and one corner.
- The second half was a different story, however, as the Panthers controlled play from the start. DU scored three goals in the final 21 minutes to earn the win.
