  • St. Cloud State set the tone for the game with a goal less than five minutes into the game to take a 1-0 lead.
  • The Huskies added goals at 15:55 and 32:24 to hold a 3-0 lead at the break.
  • Northwood did hold a 12-8 edge in shots in the first half, but only four of NU's attempts were on goal compared to six for the Huskies. St. Cloud State held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks in the half.

  • That was as close as the Timberwolves would get, however, as the Huskies held NU off the board the rest of the way to earn the win.
