Langan Earns Third Team All-Conference For Men's Soccer

Full GMAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Teams

MIDLAND, MICH. – Sophomore defender Neil Langan earned third-team Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors Thursday (November 3). Langan was the lone representative from the squad to receive All-Conference honors.

Langan held down the fort all season for the Timberwolves in the right-back position. Northwood's top defender played and started in all 18 games for Northwood this season, scoring once and assisting on another. He helped lead the Timberwolves to four shutouts and four other games holding the opponent to just a single goal. Neil's position discipline and defense helped earn him this honor. 

Northwood (8-6-4, 7-6-1 GMAC) finished seventh in the GMAC with their first winning season since 2019. While NU loses a few seniors, a majority of Northwood's starting 11 return next season. The Timberwolves have high hopes heading into next season.
