GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • A game where statistics didn't seem to matter. The Storm controlled all offensive statistics including 10-3 in shots during the first half and 5-2 on corners, but the score was 0-0 going into the half.
  • The Timberwolves made their shots count and with their fourth shot, the first coming out of the half, Wilfredo Galvez Jr. found a streaking Oliver Jarvis down the seam on a breakaway. Jarvis would put the Timberwolves in front 1-0 with his sixth goal of the year.
  • Jarvis currently leads the G-MAC and all of Division II with six total goals through five matches this season.
  • It took all of 20 shots for the Storm to eventually break through as LEC would tie it late in the 84'.
  • Robert Gjelaj's season-high 10 saves leave him 4 shy of the all-time NU saves record held by Mike Hufstader (2003-06) at 258.
  • Both teams would fight to a draw during the final five minutes, 1-1.
