INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The Northwood University men's tennis team opened their 2016 season with a 7-2 win over McKendree Saturday afternoon (February 27).

The match was a neutral-site contest held in Indianapolis. McKendree falls to 5-6 on the season with the loss.

The Timberwolves picked up wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles positions to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles. Northwood went on to win five of the six singles matches to close out the win.

On the day, Sebastian Eguez, Austin Woody, and David Reinauer all went 2-0 for the Timberwolves.

Northwood will take on Indianapolis Sunday morning (February 28). Match time is set for 10 a.m.
