Men's Tennis Drops 7-2 Match To Tusculum

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Northwood University men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 contest to Tusculum Tuesday (March 8).

Northwood is now 1-3 on the season. Tusculum improves to 9-0.

The key to the match proved to be doubles, where the Pioneers won all three matches to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles. The singles matches proved to be tight – three of the six matches saw the teams split the opening two sets. But Tusculum won four of the six contests to earn the victory.

Northwood's wins on the day came from Austin Woody at No. 2 singles and Konstantin Zhukov at No. 3 singles.

Northwood will take on Edinboro Wednesday (March 9). Match time is set for 8:30 a.m.
