HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Northwood University men's tennis team claimed an 8-1 victory over Davis & Elkins Thursday (March 10).

Northwood improves to 2-4 with the victory. Davis & Elkins falls to 3-4 with the loss.

After struggling recently, Northwood came out strong in doubles to start the match. The Timberwolves won all three contests to lead 3-0 heading to singles. The Timberwolves then won five of the six singles matches to complete the victory. All five of Northwood's wins came in straight sets.

Northwood will take on Chowan Friday morning. First serve is set for 8 a.m.
