Men's Tennis Earns 7-2 Win Over Davenport
GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – The Northwood University men's tennis team earned its third straight win Friday night (March 26), defeating Davenport by the score of 7-2.
Northwood is now 4-4 overall. Davenport falls to 7-9 with the loss.
The Timberwolves opened the match with two wins in doubles to go up 2-1 heading to singles. NU then won five of the six singles matches to close out the victory.
On the day, Sebastian Eguez, Austin Woody and Konstantin Zhukov each went 2-0 for the Timberwolves.
Northwood will open Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play with a match at Walsh Sunday (April 3). First serve is set for 10 a.m.
