Men's Tennis Opens GLIAC Tournament With 5-1 Win Over Tiffin

RECAP: No. 3 seed Northwood opens play in the GLIAC Tournament with a 5-1 win over sixth-seeded Tiffin in the quarterfinals Friday night (April 20).
INSIDE THE MATCH
- Northwood opened the match with doubles victories at the No. 3 (8-1) and No. 1 (8-4) positions to lead 2-0 early on.
- Tiffin bounced back to win at the No. 2 position (8-4) to send the match to singles with the Timberwolves leading 2-1.
- Northwood went on to win the first three matches in singles, picking up straight-set victories at the No. 1 (6-0, 6-3), No. 5 (6-1, 6-2) and No. 6 (6-4, 6-1) positions.
