Track Teams Finish Season At NCAA Outdoor Championships

The Northwood University track and field teams wrapped up their 2012-13 season at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships Thursday-Saturday (May 23-25).

The event was held at Colorado State in Pueblo, Colorado.

Northwood had a pair of competitors at the event.  On the women's side, Madison Pines placed 11^th overall in the 1,500 meter run, clocking a 4:51.89.  She qualified for the finals thanks to running a 4:36.11 in the preliminaries to earn the eighth seed in the finals.

Daniel Capek represented the Timberwolves on the men's side in the hammer throw.  He placed 15^th overall in the event with a toss of 182-3.

Northwood has now completed the 2012-13 athletic season.
