Jeremy Wilchcombe Named USTFCCCA All-Region Honoree

MIDLAND, MICH. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2015 NCAA DII Outdoor All-Region honorees.

The USTFCCCA is a non-profit professional organization representing cross country and track & field coaches of all levels. The top five individuals in each event from each region earned the All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions' top three relay teams.

Northwood University's Jeremy Wilchcombe (Freeport, Bahamas / St. Georges(NU-TX)) was named all-region, as he currently ranks second in the region in the men's triple jump. His jump of 15.13 meters at the 2015 GLIAC Championships (April 30) also puts him ninth in the country in the event.

Wilchcombe will compete in the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships hosted by Grand Valley State University and the West Michigan Sports Commission. The Championships will be held May 21-23 in Allendale, Mich. The top eight finishers in each event will earn All-America honors. The men's triple jump finals are slated to take place on Friday, May 22 at 4:45 p.m.
