Jeremy Wilchcombe Earns All-American Honors at NCAA Outdoor Championships

ALLENDALE, MICH. - The Northwood University men's track and field team sent junior Jeremy Wilchcombe (Freeport, Bahamas / St. Georges(NU-TX)) to the NCAA Division II Outdoor National Championships at Grand Valley State University Friday afternoon (May 22).

Wilchcombe represented Northwood in the men's triple jump and earned All American Honors with an eighth place finish. His jump of 15.16 meters (49-9) is a new personal best, which beats his previous school record of 15.13 meters - set at the 2015 GLIAC Championships earlier this season (April 30). The junior entered the race as the ninth best mark in the country, despite recently winning the GLIAC Outdoor Championships at Hillsdale.
