Bio

Nate Miller is the top assistant for the Northwood Cross Country/Track & Field programs.

He was named the Interim Head Coach of the mens & women's Track and Field/Cross Country programs in January of 2013 before returning to his role as the top assistant in the summer of 2013.  He will work mainly with hurdles and jumps groups as well as the combined events.

Miller joins the Northwood staff as recent graduate of Grand Valley State University. At GVSU, Miller competed in the high jump, claiming five GLIAC titles while earning All-GLIAC honors eight times. In 2009 Miller finished in third at the NCAA Division II Championships, claiming All-American honors.

Miller graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He also served one year as intern with the throwers and jumpers at Grand Valley State. Eight of his athletes earned All-GLIAC accolades in his one season. Miller also coached the jumps and hurdles Allendale High School in 2011.
