INSIDE THE MEET
- On a hilly and muddy course, sophomore Brian Patrick claimed All-American honors in his NCAA Cross Country Championships debut.
- Patrick crossed the line at Schenley Park in 33:22.2 for 36th place, becoming the first cross country All-American in school history.
- His finish is also the highest finish by a Northwood athlete at the NCAA Championships. Jon Hodge finished 59th at the NCAA Championships in 2005 and was the first NU athlete to qualify for the championship meet.
