OVERVIEW – LEWIS CROSSOVER
LOCATION: Lewis Cross Country Course – Romeoville, Ill.
RECAP: Northwood cross country competed at the Lewis Crossover Saturday (October 9).
INSIDE THE WOMEN'S RACE (6,000 METERS)
- Northwood placed 24th overall in the women's event with a team score of 743.
- Grand Valley State was the winner of the event with 36 points, followed by Lewis (106) and Colorado Christian (125)
- A total of 25 teams and 250 runners competed in the race. Klaudia O'Malley of Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 21:54.1
NORTHWOOD RESULTS:
- Kameron Haag – 105th overall: 24:26.8
- Lainey Veenkant – 199th: 26:16.8
- Molly Kitson – 228th: 28:09.8
- Amanda Kalkman – 237th: 29:22.7
- Avery Stadt – 245th: 32:17.1
INSIDE THE MEN'S RACE (8,000 METERS)
- Northwood finished 11th overall with 348 points.
- Colorado Christian was the overall winner with 59 points, followed by Lewis (87) and Grand Valley State (96).
- A total of 24 teams and 228 runners competed in the race. CarLee Stimpfel of Saginaw Valley was the overall winner at 23:55.1.
