Zane Aldrich Competes At NCAA Cross Country Championships
SAINT LEO, FLA. – Zane Aldrich, a junior on the Northwood University cross country team, competed at the NCAA Championships Saturday (November 20).
On a warm, humid day in Florida, Aldrich was in position to earn All-America honors late in the race when the conditions forced him to drop out of the race. Aldrich was not alone in succumbing to the heat/humidity – a total of 17 runners were unable to finish the race.
Aldrich was the third athlete in program history to compete at the NCAA Cross Country championships, joining Jon Hodge (2006) and Brian Patrick (2018).
