Northwood Runs Well At Live In Lou Cross Country Classic

LOCATION: Tom Sawyer State Park – Louisville, Kentucky
RECAP: Northwood men's and women's cross country competed at the Live In Lou Classic involving 31 men's and 44 women's teams from across Division I, II, and III
INSIDE THE WOMEN'S RACE (5,000 METERS)
- Northwood placed 40th overall with 917 points out of 47 teams.
- A total of 419 runners competed in the 5K with Rachael Sierakowski leading the pack in her third straight race.

INSIDE THE MEN'S RACE (8,000 METERS)
- Northwood's Dillan Haviland broke his school record in the 8K for the second straight meet finishing in 24:04.0.
- Northwood finished with 474 points, two points behind Clemson at 472, and 37 points behind #24 in Division II West Texas A&M.
- The men's team would place 20th of the 31 team finishers, also placing higher than GMAC members Findlay (25th) and Malone (29th).
- The team also outran eight Division I schools including Georgia, Eastern Kentucky, and Indiana State. A total of 301 runners competed in the event.
