Laney Earns G-MAC Cross Country Athlete Of The Week Honors

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Carson Laney earned athlete of the week honors from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this week, Monday (October 2). This is his first career athlete of the week honor and the first for a men's cross country athlete this season

Laney led all Timberwolves with a 25-second personal record (PR) at the Live In Lou Classic on Saturday (September 3). Laney finished 117th overall with a time of 25:08.4. This is the second straight meet that Laney has turned in a PR in the 8K.

Men's and women's cross country visit Romeoville, Ill. for the Lewis Crossover on Saturday, October 7. This will be the final meet before the Timberwolves gear up for the conference championships on October 21 at Malone in Canton, Ohio.
