Sam Zaborowski Earns Daktronics Second Team All-Region honors

Senior Sam Zaborowski (Taylor, Mich./Cabrini), a first baseman from the Northwood University softball team, was named Daktronics Second Team All-Region.

The nomination and voting process was done by the sports information directors from around the Midwest Region.

Zaborowski concluded her banner career with a strong senior season. She batted .383 while sharing the team lead wtih 33 runs batted in. Zaborowski also led the team with a .476 on-base percentage.

For her career, Zaborowski finished ranked among the all-time leaders in Norhwood history in hits (191 - fifth), doubles (38 - fourth), home runs (16 - third), RBIs (130 - second), total bases (279 - fifth) and batting average (.347 - sixth).
