RECAP: Softball ends their season with a 9-4 loss to Tiffin in the GLIAC Tournament Saturday (May 5). 

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS

• Tiffin opened up the scoring in the bottom of the first with two runs for the early lead.
• Northwood scored their first pair of runs on an Abby Joseph two-run scoring double to centerfield to tie the game at 2-2 in the top of the third.
• The Dragons responded with a sacrifice RBI to regain the 3-2 lead.
• With the bases loaded in the fourth, Sydni Pauley was walked to advance all runners and credited with an RBI to bring the game back in a tie at 3-3.
• Tiffin responded with another run to make it 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth to retake the lead.
• Northwood wouldn't stay away. In the top of the fifth with the bases loaded, Tara Gross singled to the second baseman, but her speed beat out the throw to first and registered an RBI to tie the game at 5-5; however, would be the closest the Timberwolves would get.
• Tiffin put the game away in the bottom of the sixth after plating five runs to make it 9-5 and shutting the Timberwolves down in their last at bat for the victory.
