RECAP: Northwood softball finishes their opening weekend with a 8-4 win over Findlay Sunday (February 21).

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• The game was scoreless into the fourth inning when Northwood scored a pair of runs on errors to go up 2-0.
• Both teams put together big six inning rallies, starting with the Oilers in the top of the frame. Findlay put together three hits and were aided by a pair of Northwood errors to score four times to go up 4-2.
• Northwood came right back in the bottom of the inning, getting on the board first with a bases loaded walk by Samantha Slick to tie the score.
• Lauren Castellon followed with the biggest hit of the game, a bases-loaded triple to make the score 6-3.
• Maddie Coulter then pushed the lead to 7-3 by plating Castellon with an RBI single.
• NU made it a six-run sixth inning on an error.
