Softball Falls In Opening Round Of G-MAC Tournament To Trevecca

RECAP: Northwood softball started their run in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) tournament Wednesday (May 3). They opened with a pivotal regional matchup against the Midwest region No. 9 Trevecca Nazarene. The Timberwolves would later fall to the Trojans, 0-2.
GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS
- With aces in the circle for both sides, the Trojans cracked the scoreboard first. In the first TNU managed a two-out rally behind a walk, stolen base, and a single to center to bring the baserunner home, 0-1 TNU.
- Trevecca capitalized on a Northwood errant throw to put the leadoff batter aboard in the fifth. A stolen base and two batters later a single would drive the baserunner in from second, 0-2 TNU.
- Northwood's offense managed just two hits on the day, later falling 0-2.
