Haviland Earns Third G-MAC Athlete Of The Week Honor This Indoor Track & Field Season
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Dillan Haviland earned his third Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week honors from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this week, Monday (February 19). This is his seventh career Athlete of the Week honor and fourth for a track & field athlete this indoor season.
Haviland continues to inch closer to the four-minute mile. The senior reset his program and conference record time, improving his mark by .31 seconds to 4:01.15 at Saginaw Valley St.'s Tune-Up Friday (February 16). His time surpassed the NCAA Provisional mark and is No. 9 in DII and No. 1 in the G-MAC this season.
The reigning 2023 Indoor G-MAC Mile Champion, Haviland, and Track & Field travel to Ashland this weekend (February 23-24) for the Great Midwest Indoor Championships.
