RECAP: Michigan Tech uses a huge fourth quarter to post a 72-62 win over Northwood Thursday night (January 19).
FIRST QUARTER
- Northwood scored the first five points of the game in the evenly-played opening quarter.
- That five-point advantage proved to be the largest of the opening quarter.
- Michigan Tech eventually led 17-15 after one
- NU shot 46.2 percent in the frame (6-13), while Michigan Tech finished at 36.8 percent (7-19).
- MTU did connect on all three of their 3-point attempts in the quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
- Michigan Tech came out fast in the second quarter, scoring the first nine points to take a 28-17 lead.
- Northwood fought back to cut the Huskies lead down to 32-25 at the break.
