FIRST QUARTER

  • Wayne State set the tone for the game in the opening minutes of the game, scoring 12 of the first 14 points.
  • Northwood came back late in the quarter, hitting three straight 3-pointers to cut the lead to one at 12-11.
  • WSU eventually led 15-11 after one.
