• Michigan Tech eventually took a 51-35 lead to the final quarter.
• Northwood got a good third quarter from Ellie Taylor (nine points, 3-5 from the floor), but the rest of the team went 0-14 overall to put NU at 3-17 overall (17.6 percent).
• MTU went 8-19 overall (42.1 percent).

FOURTH QUARTER

• NU cut the lead down to 10 with 4:33 remaining in the game, but that is as close as the Timberwolves would get.
• The Huskies' 19-point edge at the end of the game matched their biggest of the day.
