FIRST QUARTER

Ferris State used a strong offense in the opening quarter to take the early lead.
After the Timberwolves led 10-9, the Bulldogs scored 16 straight to take a 25-10 lead.
FSU's lead eventually stood at 28-16 after one.
Northwood ended the opening quarter at 31.6 percent overall, making 6-19 from the floor. NU was 2-8 from 3-point range and 2-2 from the foul line.
