GAME STORY

  • Northwood started the game well, holding an 11-4 lead less than five minutes into the game.
  • UINDY fought back to tie the score at 13-13.
  • Both offenses ended up having a strong first quarter, as the score eventually stood at 22-22 after one.
  • The Greyhounds were the better team in the second quarter, taking the lead for the remainder of the half at the 8:04 mark (25-24).
  • Indianapolis led by as many as 11 in the quarter before settling for a 39-30 lead at halftime.
  • The third quarter featured runs for both teams, first by Northwood. NU got within two at 47-45 with 4:35 remaining.
  • UINDY responded with 10 straight points to take a 57-45 lead, the biggest of the day.
  • NU did score the final five points of the quarter to make the score 57-50 heading to the fourth.
