• Northwood scored on their opening possession and led for the remainder of the opening half.
• NU scored the first eight points and 11 of the first 12 points of the contest. Their 10-point lead matched their biggest lead of the opening half.
• The Timberwolves eventually held a 20-13 edge after the opening quarter.
• Northwood held 10-point leads on six separate occasions, but the Trojans did not allow NU to make the advantage any bigger. TNU cut the advantage to three late in the half before the Northwood lead stood at 39-34 at the break.
