  • Northwood scored seven of the first 10 points of the game and led throughout the remainder of the opening quarter.
  • The Timberwolves led 20-10 late in the quarter when the Panthers scored the final six points of the frame to make the score 20-16 after one.
  • NU maintained a small advantage throughout the second quarter, as the lead stayed between two and six points.
  • Northwood's lead eventually stood at 35-33 at the break.
  • KWC made a big run to open the second half, scoring the first 14 points of the third quarter to take their biggest lead of the day at 47-35.
  • The Timberwolves responded with a 15-3 run to get back within one at 51-50.
  • Kentucky Wesleyan eventually led 53-50 heading to the final quarter.
  • Much like the start of the third quarter, the Panthers came out fast in the fourth. After the Timberwolves connected on a 3-pointer to open the quarter to tie the game at 53-53, KWC scored the next nine points to lead 62-53.
