GAME STORY
- After Ashland scored the opening three points of the game, Northwood got hot. NU scored 11 straight points for an early eight-point advantage.
- The Eagles responded right away, going on a 17-3 run to take a 20-14 lead late in the first.
- AU eventually led 23-18 after one quarter.
- The Timberwolves scored the opening two points of the second to get within three, but that would be as close as they would get the rest of the game.
- A 10-0 run by the Eagles got the lead back to 13 at 33-20.
- Another 13-2 push by the Eagles late in the half got the Ashland lead to 48-29.
- NU scored the final three points of the half to make the score 48-32 at the break.
- Northwood got within 14 early in the third, only to see Ashland add to their advantage. The Eagles eventually took a 76-54 lead to the fourth quarter.
- Ashland went on to lead by as 33 before winning 98-67.
