RECAP: Trevecca Nazarene earns an 80-69 home win over Northwood women's basketball Thursday night (January 19).

GAME STORY

Trevecca Nazarene led 7-6 early when the Timberwolves finished the opening quarter on a run. NU scored 11 of the final 13 points of the first to earn a 17-8 lead after one quarter.
NU led 24-17 with under five minutes remaining in the second quarter when the Trojans finished the half strong. Trevecca used a 13-2 run to take a 30-26 lead. The Trojans eventually scored 16 of the final 21 points to take a 33-29 lead at the break.
Trevecca continued their run into the second half, as their run grew to 25-9 early in the third quarter to make the Trojans leads 42-33.
The lead grew to as many as 14 in the third before Trevecca held a 55-43 lead heading to the fourth.
Trevecca's lead grew to 15 early in the fourth before Northwood got back into the game. NU cut the lead down to seven with 3:09 remaining.
That was as close as the Timberwolves would get, as Trevecca eventually earned an 11 point win.
