RECAP:  Northwood women's basketball dominates the final 14 minutes of an 85-65 win over Lake Erie Thursday night (February 9).

GAME STORY

  • The opening half of the game was evenly played – the largest lead for either team was five points.
  • The Storm led for the majority of the first and led 14-13 after one.
  • There were six ties and six lead changes in the second quarter alone.
  • With the Timberwolves leading 28-25, Lake Erie went on their biggest run of the night. The Storm scored the final eight points of the quarter to take their biggest lead of the half (33-28) at the break.
  • Northwood struggled shooting in the first half, making just 2-17 from 3-point range (11.8 percent).
  • Lake Erie made a 3-pointer to start the second half to take their biggest lead of the day at 36-28.
