RECAP: Northwood Women's Basketball opens conference play with a convincing 83-61 win over Thomas More Wednesday night (November 29).

GAME STORY

Thomas More took their only lead of the game on the opening possession of the game, which was immediately followed by seven straight points for Northwood.
Northwood scored 12 straight points late in the quarter to take a 19-6 lead.
The Timberwolves' advantage stood at 21-10 after one quarter.
Thomas More cut the lead to nine early in the second, only to see the Timberwolves extend their advantage to 20 at 32-12 with 5:09 remaining in the quarter.
Northwood got their lead up to as many as 24 before the game went to the break with NU on top 41-19.
The Saints put together their best quarter of the game in the third. After falling behind by as many as 25, Thomas More got back within 16 at 55-39.
The NU lead stood at 61-44 heading to the fourth.
Northwood put the game away at the start of the final quarter, scoring the first nine points to get the lead up to 70-44.
That 26-point lead matched Northwood's biggest of the night. TMU got no closer than 19 the rest of the way.
