• Northwood got off to a fast start, connecting on five 3-pointers in the opening 5:18 of the game. That allowed the Timberwolves to take their biggest lead of the game at 18-7.
• Trevecca Nazarene responded, putting up the next 12 points to take a 19-18 lead.
• The Trojans eventually led 23-21 after one quarter.
• The second quarter was close until back-to-back 3-pointers for Trevecca down the stretch made the score 43-36 at the break.
• TNU got their lead up to 13 before NU cut it down to seven at 53-46.
• Trevecca eventually led 68-55 heading to the fourth.
• NU fell behind by as many as 19 before cutting the lead down to 10 with 1:51 to go, but that proved to be as close as the Timberwolves would get down the stretch.
