• Northwood scored the first four points of the game and held the lead the rest of the game.
• The Timberwolves pushed the lead to 26-10 at the end of the first quarter, which was their biggest of the opening 10 minutes.
• ODU cut the lead down to 11 early the second quarter, but that proved to be as close as the Panthers would get the rest of the way.
• NU led by as many as 25 (44-19) before the game went to the break with the score 49-26.
• Ohio Dominican played their best basketball of the game early in the third, cutting the Northwood lead down to 11 at 56-45.
• The Timberwolves were the better team the rest of the quarter, out-scoring the Panthers 8-2 the rest of the way to lead 64-47 heading to the fourth.
• Ohio Dominican got no closer than 15 in the final period.
