GAME STORY
- The first quarter was evenly contested and low scoring. NU held the biggest lead of the opening 10 minutes at 13-7. The frame came to an end with Northwood on top 13-10.
- Northwood made the first major run of the game with Malone leading 20-17 in the second. The Timberwolves scored 15 of the next 17 points to take a 32-22 lead with 3:51 remaining in the half.
- Malone responded right away, putting up the next eight points to make the score 32-30.
- The game went to the break with Northwood on top 34-32.
- NU went on another run late in the third quarter. Trailing 40-39, Northwood went on a 14-2 push to take a 53-42 lead heading to the fourth.
- The Timberwolves then scored the first four points of the fourth when the Pioneers got hot. Malone made four straight shots, three of which were 3-pointers, to cut the Northwood lead down to four at 57-53.
- MU cut the lead down to one twice down the stretch but were unable to tie the game.
- The Pioneers had a 3-point attempt in the final seconds to tie the game that was no good, giving the Timberwolves the win.

- Todd finished the day with 1,466 points for her career. She broke the record of Northwood Hall of Famer Lauren Matej, who scored 1,465 points from 1998-2001.
- With two 3-pointers today, Todd now has 266 career 3-pointers. The old record of 265 was set by Rachel Church, who made 265 from 2008-13.
