RECAP: Northwood women's basketball leads throughout in a 78-64 win over Cedarville Saturday afternoon (February 3).
GAME STORY
- Northwood put up the opening six points of the game and held the advantage the rest of the way.
- NU led 11-10 with 4:45 remaining in the quarter when the Timberwolves finished strong. NU scored 11 of the final 14 points of the quarter to take a 22-13 lead after one.
- The Timberwolves led 31-26 with 3:10 remaining in the second quarter when the Timberwolves once again made a push. Northwood used a 10-0 run to go up 41-26 before holding a 41-28 lead at the break.
- Cedarville cut the lead down to nine at one point in the third before once again Northwood made a late run. NU eventually took a 61-41 lead to the final period.
- The Yellow Jackets did not go away, eventually cutting the Timberwolves advantage down to nine late before Northwood finished off the 14 point victory..
